This Sunday we are away at Melksham.  Kick off is at 10:45, so we need to be there about 10:15.

It looks as if the ground entrance is where Campion Drive bends to the right just before it becomes Cornflower Way.

Hi everyone,

I’m sorry, the game that was planned for this Sunday can’t now go ahead.

It seems that there is not a suitable pitch available for us either at Lansdown or in Chippenham and, in any case, it seems that we would not have had enough players available to field a team.

It’s a shame, as I know some of the boys were looking forward to the game, as I was. However, the other two games we have on the calendar - which I have told players and their parents/carers about separately - should still go ahead and we will hopefully be able to rearrange the game with FC Chippenham.

Training as usual next Tuesday at St Marks. The following week it may move to Monday (i.e. 2 March). I should be able to advise players about this next Tuesday.

After their first season in the Midsomer Norton League division two Larkhall Ospreys have won the league and gained promotion to the first division next season.  With all games now complete the season finished with 14 wins, 1 draw and only 1 loss. 

This is an excellent achievement for the players and the team due to the fact that the team nearly disbanded at the beginning of the season due to poor results in the last two seasons, generally because of a lack of players.

With only eight players at the beginning of the season, two of whom were new to the team, there are now 20 players registered with the club.  Much of this is due to the help of the eight original players who have helped to bring in new players, and to Rich Stone who has not only given up a lot of his time in trying to attract the players we now have but who also guided the team and me in our infancy.

This has been my first year coaching football and managing the team and it has been a real pleasure.  The players have been really enthusiatic and easy to coach.  Winning obviously helps though!

This is a great achievement for both the team and the club and one which the players should all be very proud of.

Kick off is at 10.45am , so we need to meet at Alice park at 9.15am if meeting at the ground please be there for 10:20am, but could you please let Paul or Rob know if you are meeting at the ground !!!!
