This is the same as last year , but for new players here is a map, please note the Astro is at the rear of School just off college road so drive to here via Fonthill Road ( ignor the red pin on the map as thats too low down )

Just to say well done to Falcons on your first game together, we are a completely new team this season , and this was our first real competitive game together.

Paul & Rob think you all played brilliant even with 10 men for the last 10 minutes due to injuires, and we played some fantastic football which, will only get better and better !!!!

Our first game this year is away at Avebury, and kick off is at 1:30 on Sunday.

The directions are to follow the A4 through Chippenham and Calne to the Beckhampton roundabout, then take the left onto the A4361 for Avebury. The road goes up, down, and then up again, and just past the National Trust car park on the left there is a Working Man’s club where we park. Their coach said he’ll put out a sign saying ‘football’ or something. For those with a historical bent, it looks on Google maps as if we’re playing right next to the stone circle, so bring your cameras!
Avebury have had some difficulties getting started this season, and at the moment they haven’t managed to get registered with the league.
Their coach is supposed to let me know the game’s on before 7:00 on Wedesday so I can tell everyone at training. If he doesn’t then I’ll let everyone know by text if it’s off.

Hi All

Following a really successful first night of training, and being surprised by the number of children we now appear to have in the Under 9s, we are not going to be able to register all the children in both the leagues. Consequently, in discussion with Robert, we have allocated squads, as listed below. Please note your squad, and the contact details of the Manager. I will be giving all the children a copy of this mail on Wednesday.

Also, winter training times have just been confirmed, 6-7pm, St Marks School astro pitch (OUTSIDE) under floodlights, from 1st October!
I will supply maps and parking instructions on the 24th. Also, we are aware that for a couple of parents, this will provide a bit of a headache, with the under 8s training indoors at Ralph Allen from 6-7pm. Please let me know if this is the case, and maybe we can share lifts etc.

Finally just a reminder that all subs are now due. Total payable is £90 for the year, minus any deposit you have paid. If in doubt, I have the list of who has paid what. Siblings receive a £20 discount so only pay £70 in total. I have kit vouchers to give out to those that didnt get them last year, but I can only issue these on receipt of all fees.
