Laverstock 0 Larkhall Kestrels 6

Today the kestrels travelled to second placed Laverstock in what promised to be a tight game.On a big pitch, it was the Kestrels who got on top straight from the kick off and after creating several chances the first goal finally came after 10 mins, with Dan popping up from the back to score with a rasping left foot shot from just outside the box.As the half progressed Laverstock were increasingly getting pinned back in their own half and it was no surprise when Joe added the second midway through.With the midfield dominating, the Kestrels back four of Jaiden, Adam, Lewis W and Dan were rarely tested and the only time that Laverstock did get behind them James made an excellent save at the feet of the oncoming forward.

The second half started in same vein as the first and Jordan soon added the Kestrels third goal.A few minutes later the contest was effectively over when man of the match Olly scored with a powerful shot which flew in off the post. Barnie and Harley were introduced into the play and the fith goal soon followed when Theo, who was now playing up front tapped in at the far post after some good work down the left from Joe.An excellent all round team performance was rounded off when Joe scored his second to give the Kestrels a resounding 6-0 victory
