Many congratulations to our U9 Falcons and Eagles for very creditable
performances in their League matches to date.
The Falcons have won their pre-Christmas Division with a record of Played 10, Won 8, Drawn 1 and Lost 1 (see table)! The boys also scored most goals in the League and let in fewest. Most importantly, all the boys played some fantastic passing football and their teamwork and team spirit have really devloped as the season has gone on.
The Eagles have also done very well to win four of their games and currently stand third in their Division.

With the U9s, as it is the first age group at which competitive games are played (i.e. with divisional tables published), what happens after Christmas is that all the current standings in all the U9s’ division are reviewed by the League and fresh Divisions are created, with some teams moving up a Division (this will presumably include the Falcons!), while others move down and others stay the same (as will probably be the case with the Eagles).

Once the post-Christmas Divisions and associated fixtures have been produced by the League, players and parents/carers will be advised.

Well done to all the U9s players of both our teams and well done and thank you to Otto, Rus and Roger for coaching and managing the teams so well.
